Dialogue with the community continues

Following the Opening Forum, which was held on 8 October 2009, and the first public forum on 25 October 2009, the WKCD Authority will organise two more public forums and over 50 focus group sessions during a three-month public engagement period that will end on 7 January 2010.

The public forums are open to all, whilst focus group meetings are by invitation. Members of the public may also attend the focus group meetings as observers. Focus group meetings offer various stakeholder groups the opportunity to have an in-depth discussion about the WKCD as it relates to their specific profession or field. Representatives from the Project Consultant and the three Conceptual Plan Consultants will attend all the public forums and focus group sessions to listen to participants’ views. So far, one public forum and a dozen focus group sessions have taken place, drawing over 400 participants.
