Student Guided Tours Introduce Conceptual Plan Options for the West Kowloon Cultural District to Secondary School Students

Dr Chan Man-waiThe Conceptual Plan Options for the West Kowloon Cultural District prepared by three world-class master-planning teams are now being presented in a roving exhibition across the territory.  To deepen students’ understanding of the three Conceptual Plans, the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (“the Authority”) has invited all secondary school students in Hong Kong to participate in the roving exhibition guided tours from September to November. The programme has been well-received with more than 60 guided tours for over 3,000 students scheduled.

WKCDA Senior Management’s Debut at Legislative Council Meeting

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority’s senior management team, led by CEO Mr Graham Sheffield, attended for the first time, a meeting of Legislative Council’s Joint Subcommittee to Monitor the Implementation of the West Kowloon Cultural District Project on 20 September. Mr Sheffield introduced the latest developments of the West Kowloon Cultural District project and gathered views from the Committee members. Representatives from the three master-planning teams also attended the meeting and introduced their respective conceptual plan options.
