Youth Forum and Public Forums a Big Success

Graham at APAAs the younger generation will be the key users of WKCD, the WKCDA conducted a youth forum on 20 November as the finale event for the Stage 2 Public Engagement exercise. Over 100 secondary students and youngsters attended the forum held at InnoCentre in Kowloon Tong. Mr Graham Sheffield, Chief Executive Officer of the WKCDA, Professor Stephen Cheung, Consultation Panel Chairman of the WKCDA and the three conceptual plans consultants were there to listen to viewpoints from young people. During the forum, local theatre actress Kearen Pang and pianist Rachel Cheung shared their experiences as artists and also their aspirations for the district.

South Asian Teenagers and HKAPA Students Visit Roving Exhibition

Dr Chan Man-waiThe West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (WKCDA) arranged a number of guided tours at the
roving exhibition of the Stage 2 Public Engagement exercise for local South Asian teenagers
and students from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) to help them gain a
better understanding about the future development of WKCD.
